A Day in the Life of a City Girl
with Psoriatic Arthritis
My name is Lori-Ann. I am married, just went out on disability, and moved to Dallas from New York City. I was diagnosed with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis in 2012. Although it can be tough to stay active and enjoy life during a flare, or any other day, I believe the city life is the best environment for me. Although I am not as able as I was when I was younger, or before my disease got out of control, I still do the things I like in the city: shopping, museums, shows, and cultural events. I try to eat a clean diet free of processed foods (most of the time) and attend physical therapy to stay active in order to keep my disease under control. I am not a health professional of any kind and do not offer any advice on my blog, merely my own experience with treatments and lifestyle changes.
I hope you enjoy spending a day in the life with me.
