Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I know I did. One of the things I did this weekend was get older. And, what is better on a birthday than gifts? I was so excited when NatraCure contacted me and asked if I wanted to try out their Cold Therapy Socks as a gift! Of course, I accepted. Though the product itself is sponsored, all opinions are my own. They were also kind enough to send me an extra pair for one lucky reader, retail value is $20.99.
As you know, I not only live with Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis, for which foot and ankle swelling and pain are a hallmark, but am also recovering from foot surgery. Needless to say, I understand foot pain and swelling. Following the instrucions on the product insert, I unpacked my Cold Therapy Socks and put them in the freezer for at least two hours. I'm not going to lie, I was so excited to try them I set a timer for two hours.
The instructions also include a warning not to walk while wearing the Cold Therapy Socks, so I pulled up my pouf, put them on an sat back for 20 minutes (the maximum recommended time).
Ooh-la-la! Not only are these socks a soothing Robins egg blue shade, but they are super soft. My feet were in Heaven on earth! When I removed the socks after 20 minutes, all my edema was gone! Also, the itch from my plantarpsoriasis was also relieved. I have been using them all weekend since they arrived and have no doubt they will make frequent appearances on my feet when I am home. Check out NatraCure's website for all their other therapeutic products.
